Leon Venerable is a native of North Alabama,
the Woodville and Paint Rock Valley area.
From the early age of 4 he started playing the guitar and singing in
church. At age 15, he participated in a FFA string band contest,
and not long after that, he started writing his own songs. He has
played at many benefits throughout North Alabama, at community's
Founder 's Days and many bluegrass festivals.
Leon has opened shows for some of music's finest including: Marty
Raybon (Shenandoah), Donna Stoneman (HeeHaw), Dave Gibson (Gibson
Miller Band) and hit song writer's Jim Parker, Jerry Vandiver,
Victoria Banks and Alan Rhody. He has co-written with hit
songwriters and artist Razzy Baily, Mark Trail, Teresa Boaz, with
two film scores on the E-Channel Style Network and on RFDTV's hit
show, Music and Motors.

He spends most of his time on the singer/songwriter trail in
Nashville, Tennessee and frequents the Bluebird Cafe, the Commodore
Lounge, Douglas Corner and Rudi's Country Cafe.
His other hobbies include spending time with his family, riding
horses and roping, fishing and hunting. |
